The Jaguar E-Type is widely regarded as one of the most important and influential sports cars of all time! Recently voted as the best British car of all the time, and celebrating its 60th year! We proudly present one of the remaining Series 2 roadsters from the late 1960’s.
Enzo Ferrari called the it the most beautiful car in the world at its launch in Geneva in 1961. Styled mainly by aerodynamicist Malcolm Sayer, with significant input by Sir William Lyons, the coupe and roadsters caused a sensation!
Our completely original Gunmetal Grey 1969 series 2 roadster boasts, black mohair convertible roof and gorgeous black leather seats and console. Starting its life in New York right out of the dealership and then a little time in California. And then to current day with us in the UK in Surrey. It has the bullet proof 4.2 ltr straight six engine that absolutely sings! An absolute joy to see the dial move through the Smiths rev counter. And hear that lovely exhaust rasp!
Over the years it has been carefully restored to retain authenticity, and is verified by Jaguar’s Heritage Trust.
