Our gold 1963 Jaguar mk2 is the 3.8L version with the 4 speed manual gearbox with overdrive. When introduced in 1959 they were the fastest production 5 seat saloon car in the world, with a 125 mph top speed. A complete restoration has been carried out and only recently completed in 2017. The rustfree bodywork was stripped back to bare metal and repainted in the original colour of Opalescent Golden Sand. The red and burr walnut interior was carefully restored as required, retaining a subtle degree of patina.
