In 1955 Coachbuilder Karmann came up with the idea of producing a pretty Coupe based on a Beetle floorpan. With touch mechanics and pretty styling the Karmann Ghia was manufactured until 1974 with almost 500,000 cars produced. Our car has the 1570 cc flat four air cooled motor with lively performance. Undergoing a compete nut and bolt body off rebuild by a renowned German restorer in 2007/2008 and imported into the UK by the owner a local enthusiast. The restoration was done to a superb standard, with new silver metallic paintwork and red interior. All the mechanics were renewed at same time resulting in an almost as new vehicle.
