To be absolutely clear i am making reference to the Phantom that was sent to collect my daughter & myself & then was retained to take the bride & groom to the reception. Firstly, this was not the vehicle i had booked, i was informed on the evening before there had been issues with the Bentley so it was no longer an option therefore the Bentley was being swapped for RR Phantom. The Phantom was old, not in a great state of repair with bodywork issues as well as not being spotlessly clean on the outside with a couple of leaves sticking out from the bonnet. Whilst it was comfortable inside within 2 minutes of the journey the driver became a little 'too chatty' to the point that it sort of ruined the moment of my final journey taking my daughter to the church before walking her down the aisle, we were presented with an insight to the driver's life story of where he worked, who his family members are and where his sons & daughters work & then a story that he continued to tell to the new bride & groom, one where he delayed setting off from the church until he had finished besides continuing through their first journey together as a married couple? Now, i would agree that you would want your staff to be friendly, however, there is a time & place & a limit as to when they realise that these are personal occasions that are treasured so perhaps show some restraint and let the father of the bride/bride & subsequently the bride & groom share their moments in some privacy.
